Expand Your Horizons with Sign Frames from Vista System

Vista System recently launched a new line of sign frames creating the best solution in the market for projects requiring extra large signage.  It’s called the Vista Expand series and consists of environmentally friendly indoor and outdoor sign frames ranging in size from 700-1400mm (27.5-55″) wide and up to 4 meters (13′) high.  The ultra modern design has a minimal curve and supports XL pylon signs (above right), landscape and portrait XL wall signs (above left) and landscape and portrait XL post and panel signs.

The portrait XL wall signs as illustrated above are a superior solution for displaying information including, but not limited to, floor maps, logo and branding imagery, floor directories, advertising space and exit routes.  Its landscape counterpart, XL landscape wall signs, are used to display wayfinding information and branding images, company name and logo, floor lists, decorative photos, advertising space and much more.

The Vista System Expand Series of sign frames, in addition to being aesthetically pleasing, are also easy to install and update.  Installation of the Vista Expand wall signs is done by simply attaching the main profile to the wall with the screws smartly hidden under the insert sheet.  The sign frames accept digital prints, vinyl and other materials to present updated information.  The replacement process if fast and easy and can be completed on-site with in-house staff.

Vista System double-sided pylon signs are extremely popular and well known for wayfinding.  Often projects call for extra large pylons making the Vista line the most attractive solution available.  Applications are varied from displaying directions outdoors to wayfinding, branding, information, images, instructions and advertising within the complex.

The XL portrait and landscape post & panel signs are often used to display information to the public including orientation maps in the mall, real estate project specification stands, terminal information posts, industrial zone directories and much more.  Because of the modular design, many variations of both types of post & panel signs are possible.

Vista Expand proves that just because they are bigger they are still flexible, easy to deliver and install as well as maintain.  We have a number of images and videos that go into much more detail than what’s included here.  Contact us and we’ll be glad to send them to you.  We hope this information was helpful as we try to keep you up to date with the latest on architectural signage throughout the industry.  Please like, share or subscribe to our blog or visit our website for other signage products.

Directory Signs – Go Big or Go Home!

Multi-panel directory signs are the preferred choice for large office buildings or buildings with room for expansion.  Typically used as building directory signs, these versatile sign holders can also be used as menu boards, directional signs or wayfinding signs.  They’re available with flat and curved profiles and be used for both interior and exterior signage applications.

The flat profile directory signs, such as the DF34U, consist of three portrait-oriented directories with one landscape-oriented header.  However, the curved profile directory signs, like the D36U, have two horizontal curved directories with one vertical curved header.  The entire line of Vista office signs are built to order so if you need custom sizes, including the number of panels per sign frame or the size of the frame itself, we can accommodate your requirements.  This is especially advantageous with menu boards or similar sign holders where unanticipated space is needed.

On the topic of menu boards and sign holders, these multi-panel sign frames accommodate a wide variety of insert materials.  Paper is the most popular since you can print the inserts yourself in minutes.  It’s fast, economical and you don’t have to wait for the local sign company to get them done.  If you have existing office signs in place which utilize engraved, acrylic, vinyl, PVC or comparable materials, the Vista multi-panel directory signs can accommodate them all effectively blending into the existing sign program.

The frames come in three elegant anodized aluminum finishes; brushed silver, black and gold.  There are metal end caps to match or choose from grey or black plastic to complement your existing color scheme.

We hope you found the video and this article useful and informative.  For more information on Vista office signs and installation options please visit our channel for helpful how-to videos.  We also ask you to comment or subscribe to our blog.

Top 3 Office Sign Resolutions for 2020

Here are my top office sign resolutions for 2020 now that we’ve got a month behind us.  I know Vista Office Signoffice signs are always top of mind – so here goes.

1.  Make Office Sign Maintenance Easy –  Take it easy in 2020!  Maintain your office signs in-house by printing paper inserts like the pros for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere.  Keep your door signs up to date when a promotion occurs and make sure your directory signs don’t look like a cut-and-paste project because the local sign company won’t return your calls.  Creating inserts for your office signs is fun, fast and cost effective.

2.  Go With Modular Sign Systems – Find a modular sign solution that includes door signs, directory signs, desk signs and flag signs so that the money you invest in your sign program allows you to maintain signage consistency throughout your entire building or campus.  All too often door signs, desk signs or directory signs don’t match because the sign provider didn’t provide a solution that offers a comprehensive product suite.

3.  Get A Guarantee – Make sure your office signs come with a guarantee.  Don’t settle for inexpensive imitations when investing in office sign frames.

Cheers to 2020!

Directory Sign Elegance in Port Louis

Office Directory SignHere’s a picture of a high-quality directory sign that was recently installed in Port Louis, Mauritius.  These directory sign frames and other way finding signage was  installed at the Le Caudan Water Front Mall which is a high-end luxury mall with over 120 stores offering products from sports equipment to jewelry. This collection of sign frames is comprised of five long directory panels similar to the D5U in addition to a poster frame along the top.  The product line allows seamless matching of the various sign frames.

The client wanted their directory sign and other way finding signage to complement the various store interiors and to manage visitor traffic throughout the mall.  The directory sign frame inserts were fabricated using substrates that enhanced the existing color schemes.  Due to the wide variety directory signs and way finding signage available, the mall successfully met their objectives.

Not only were these directory signs elegant but they were flexible too.  The copy on the directory signs changes often as does a number of the other way finding signs throughout the mall.  Updating directory signs is fast and cost effective using these sign frames because you aren’t dependent on the local sign company for maintenance.

Having sign consistency throughout the mall cannot be overstated.  Whether we’re talking directory sign, flag sign, room sign or other way finding types, having a common look and feel throughout adds a extra touch of elegance that can only be achieved with a comprehensive sign system such as this.

Introducing Vista System Wayfinding Corner Signs

Vista System just introduced a new line of flat wayfinding corner signs to complement it’s Vista System Wayfinding Corner Signscurved MCFT (modular curved frame technology) product line.  Vista System spent about twelve months looking for a company that had a similar, modular technology in the wayfinding space and found that company in GreenSquare.  GreenSquare was acquired by Vista System with a “definitive mission to offer an international solution to the sign industry that is both elegantly designed and technologically advanced”.

This wayfinding system offers flat signage solutions which includes corner signs in addition to wall signs, door signs, directory signs, suspended signs, flag signs and table signs.  They are designed to accept various types of inserts with varying thicknesses.  Because of its modularity, these signs can be tailored to match any need.  In addition, the number of extrusions available make it very easy to develop custom solutions for new projects as well as adapt to current standards.

Vista System fabricates these corner signs in three colors, namely brushed silver, black and gold.  This is true across the entire wayfinding line.  They can be used indoors and outdoors but please take caution that the inserts you use outdoors will withstand the elements.

End caps for these corner signs come in black and grey ABS plastic.  Unlike its curved counterpart, Vista System offers the entire flat wayfinding system with plastic end caps.  It is still to be determined whether metal end caps will become an option downstream.

Finally, custom colors are available for special projects should your specifications dictate however, the project should be large enough to offset the incremental uplift in price.

Flat Directory Sign Frames by Vista System

Flat directory sign frames are now part of the Vista System product line for interior and Vista Directory Sign Frameexterior signage use.  In conjunction with its curved line, GreenSquare, Vista’s newly acquired company, just announced it’s new product line.  When it comes to interior and exterior signage, Vista System offers the best in directory sign frames.

The GreenSquare product line comes in the same colors as the curved line, namely brushed silver, black and gold.  It’s still modular in nature and comes with a green suction cup to remove the clear covers much like its curved counterpart.  From an exterior signage standpoint, the directory sign frames will withstand the elements.  Depending on your geographical location you may want to consider the substrates you use for your inserts to make sure they too can handle the weather.  Directory sign frames can be mounted on an existing wall or post without the need for special tooling.

From an interior perspective, the GreenSquare line is aesthetically pleasing for even the most discriminating locations.  They blend in nicely with the existing decor and are simple to maintain.  GreenSquare is in the process of launching its wall frames, table signs, suspended signs and flag signs in addition to it’s directory sign frames so you can maintain that common look and feel throughout your building or campus locations.

They hold substrates up to 3mm / 0.12″ thick.  So in addition to paper inserts, it is possible for the frames to hold acrylic material, PVC and others in addition to ADA inserts.
